Midwife/Sonographer

I am the owner/ Director of Tummy2mummy Ltd.

In 1990 I stepped on the path to become a midwife at  Walsgrave Maternity Hospital Coventry where I gained a wealth of experience working with some amazing colleagues until 1999. I moved on to Leicester Royal Maternity Hospital working in the hospital setting and as a community midwife Based at the Maples Family Medical Practice in Hinckley enhancing my practice with lots of experiences working with so many inspiring colleagues and being part of lots of home births until 2009. In June 2009 Tummy2mummy was born ! and I  successfully gained a qualification in obstetric and early pregnancy ultrasound at Addenbrookes University Hospital, Cambridge. In 2010, 2011 and 2012 I completed scanning courses at London University Hospitals and Royal college of Obstetric and Gynaecology to include vaginal scans and completed training in 3d/4d baby scans. In 2014 completed further scanning courses to enhance my skills at sheffield university with in house practical assesments.

I am also qualified in aqua natal, parent craft education, natal hypno birthing, and smoking cessation in pregnancy. A diploma in baby massage. I keep updated regularly in both midwifery and scanning.

I have a wonderful family that have always inspired and supported me to fulfil my dream to become a midwife, to build and nurture

Tummy2mummy; my lovely husband Kevin with his continued love and support, my 3 wonderful children Victoria, James and Hayli
who I am so proud, my 3 precious granddaughters Emily-May, Zayleigh and Keavy who inspire me everyday, my amazing Mum and Dad, my dear sisters Tracy, Suzanne and foster sister Hanneke, their beautiful families, my lovely Mum and Dad Grant who are remembered and missed every single day, and last but not least a big thank you to all my friends who care and support me (you know who you are).

My most inspiring moments to date are supporting my family and friends in their childbirth experiences with the most precious being my granddaughters Zayleigh, Keavy, my 2 nieces Jiaya and Indah and nephew Zachary (Zach).

My passion for midwifery is strong and I feel privileged and look forward to being part of your most precious journey of life.
