ZOE KEAVENEY

I have joined Tummy2mummy and am really excited to be on board to work with such a lovely team and support all our lovely mums and dads in their experiences with Tummy2mummy
In 2003 when I was a student midwife I met Donna as my first mentor, she taught me how essential it was to be an empathetic and caring midwife always striving for normality and supporting those through the abnormalities in the childbirth process. Since then we have remained friends and she has continued to guide and support me through my midwifery career.
In 2006 I qualified as a midwife and began my career at Heartlands Hospital, gaining further experiences in high-risk care, although my heart remained caring for women in a low risk setting. In 2010 I was given the opportunity to be part of the team opening Netherbrook Birth Unit in Solihull Hospital offering one to one care promoting normality and waterbirths.
