Non Invasive Prenatal Test (NIPT)

Our NIPT appointment includes a short ultrasound scan to accurately confirm your pregnancy dates, followed by a blood sample taken by one of our qualified sonographers. The sample is then sent to a specialist laboratory for analysis, with results typically available within 7–10 working days.

NIPT is an advanced, highly accurate, and non-invasive screening test that assesses the likelihood of certain chromosomal conditions, including Down syndrome (Trisomy 21), Edwards syndrome (Trisomy 18), and Patau syndrome (Trisomy 13).

Using a simple maternal blood sample, NIPT offers one of the most reliable screening methods currently available, providing expectant parents with valuable information about their pregnancy without any risk to the baby.
